Images are not to scale and some images do not show
the borders of the posters. Excuse the glare and some shadows on the images.

(Excuse the glare and the shadows in these three
GALERIES LAFAYETTE poster images above. They are all unused and 47Óx63Ó These posters were used in very short advertising
campaigns in 2002,2003 and 2004. Most were pasted on Paris Metro walls and many
were defaced or torn down and destroyed by collectors. They were never sold,
even on the poster market.)

PRINTEMPS, 1977, 47ÓX68Ó, Artist is HELENE MAJERA,
$3000. (the acquisition of this poster
started me buying French publicity posters. It is the only French publicity
poster where some of the text is in English- a direct appeal to the many
English speaking tourists in Paris in the summer of 1977 when this poster was
in the Metro for just six weeks. Very few of these posters survived intact
since they were pasted on the wall. I have often heard this image discussed in
Paris poster circles but I have never seen it offered for sale at auctions or
in poster galleries. I think I have the only ones and now only two. HELENE MAJERA was a young poster artist
in 1977; now she is a celebrated fine artist.)

I purchased the three small posters above from a
former BALLY (shoes) employee in the publicity department. I have never seen
these posters in larger version. I do not think they ever went into full
production. The knives in the images are my Òhold downsÓ. All of these are from the 1970Õs
according to my seller.
