CLICK HERE for FILM FESTIVAL POSTERS not designed by Saul Bass. Saul Bass was the best ever designer of film titles and film posters. Working closely with the directors Hitchcock, Preminger, Wilder, Frankenheimer, Scorsese and others, he revolutionized the design of the film title and credit sequences. His documentary, WHY MAN CREATES, won the BEST DOCUMENTARY Oscar in 1968. In the 1960Õs he designed many film awards and festival posters including five Oscar posters. Here are some of his surviving posters, all original release and in near mint condition.
